Easy to build and twice as much fun as other launch sets! Complete with battery, wadding & MOTORS for SIX flights!
The TwinX Deluxe Set offers Xtra value with two rockets. The Io (or similar such as Ganymede) is a Skill Level 1 model rocket that streaks over 1,700 feet (530 meters) into the sky, and the easier/quicker to build Quick and Easy Pan model rocket can fly to over 600 feet. The Deluxe Twin X Set includes a launch pad, launch controller, wadding, battery and motors for SIX flights.

The Pan model rocket kit's fin can (fins and mounting) is assembled without glue. You can paint the rocket (or not), apply the stickers included (or not!) or just fly it just as it comes... within minutes of tearing off the wrapping paper :-)
In case you were wondering if this kit was inspired by the half-man/half-goat of Greek mythology, keep your lusty thoughts to yourself ;-) Pan is a small so-called shepherd moon that facilitates communication between two rings of Saturn to maintain order.
HERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS MODEL ROCKET KIT
The Io kit may be swapped out with a Mira, Ganymede or similar smaller rocket with blistering performance.

Io is a classic model with good flying characteristics that make it great for beginners
Robust plywood fins and a pre-slotted body tube make assembling quick and accurate. It flies well on low-cost A and B engines.
We recommend a bright lacquer for a good visibility (anything but green! or yellow when the rape blossoms are out!). The foil sticker stands out well.

These Klima model rocket kits are step up from the lighter gauge Estes offerings. The Launch Pan is more sturdy and the launch controller can take up to two 9V batteries for faultless ignition even during colder weather.
Both rockets are very easy to build. The Io's laser cut fins are the last word in precision. Pan's got plastic fins and a Quick and Easy mount that always go on straight. No painting is required for the for either rocket, thanks to the decal sets. Io's got cool decals, too, but could do with a pssst from some rattle tin spray paint.
Model rocketry is recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12. Unless otherwise specified, all models require assembly. Tools, construction and finishing supplies sold separately. In order to launch, a launch system, model rocket engines, igniters and recovery wadding are required - sold separately-unless otherwise specified.
The weakest link in any standard rocket kit is the recovery system. Standard components are built to a low price, not a high level of durability. To be sure you get your rocket back we recommend Starter Set Upgrade Kits, an economical version of our Recovery Upgrade Kits that addresses the standard recovery components' short comings and is a bit kinder on the environment, too. For more information click HERE. You'll need two: one each for both rockets!
Our full-on Recovery Upgrade Kits provide the highest level of durability. They are principally for rocket builders that value the time and skill they put into their birds. That's not to say that failing to get back a beloved Starter Set rocket is any less traumatic (especially if child disappointment is involved). For more information click HERE
