Educational Rockets 3

UP Aerospace SpaceLoft <br />Easy Scale Kit 1

The Up Aerospace SpaceLoft kit is great for young rocket scientists with a modest budget and a small flying field but still want BIG excitement

This is a quick-to-assemble, no-painting-required rocket kit that has a one piece plastic fin assembly so even young and inexperienced builders can get a good straight flight first time. Colourful stickers are included to make this 313mm scale model look just like the real thing! This model doesn't quite reach space but it can go as high as 800 feet (244 meters).

The SpaceLoft is an E2X® rocket kit that is similar to that old school favourite, the Gnome. It is taller than the old Gnome (which it replaces) but costs the same. If you are studying rockets for the Scout Astronautics Activity badge, you will be able to learn about a real rocket, then build and launch your own SpaceLoft rocket. The SpaceLoft is also available in a starter set and in packs of 10 for groups.

There's no better introduction to model rocket performance and economy than kits using economical "mini" motors. Check them all out by clicking HERE!

UP Aerospace is a private spacecraft company in the U.S. that was founded in October, 2004. UP Aerospace styles itself as America??s affordable space launch resource. It has a fleet of space-flying sounding rockets that they use to provide low-cost space access to businesses and the educational/collegiate sector.

They are the first rocket company to make it affordable to launch significant-size payloads and sophisticated experiments into space. UP Aerospace provides complete payload recovery and a wide range of tracking, telemetry and avionics options.

UP Aerospace rockets are named SpaceLoft and the SpaceLoft XL. The company launches these rockets at New Mexico Southwest Regional Spaceport (SRS) where Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo will take passengers into space as soon as next year.
