The DELUXE Sky Twister set come with everything you need for THREE launches! When we say everything we mean - motors - wadding - batteries - glue, too!
The latest edition of Sky Twister has a black and brilliant yellow design that is hard to lose in the weeds. Launch it over 650 feet and watch the helicopter nose cone spin its way to the ground as the body tube floats gracefully down with a 12 inch plastic parachute.
The helicopter nose cone along with the vibrant design make this one heck of a rocket. Easy to fly no matter what your experience level! Have this rocket on the launch pad in just minutes and enjoy countless launches. This rocket is ALMOST ready to fly but a couple of dabs of glue are required before you head out to the field.
The Sky Twister out-performs its big cousin the HeliCat. It's lighter and has less frontal area and that equals more zoom!

If you are not sure which stater set is best for you then CLICK HERE for an explanation of the important differences that can make one set perfect for one person and not-the-best for another. With our help, getting off to a great start in rocketry doesn't take a lot of "rocket science" ;-)
Unless otherwise specified, all models require assembly. Tools, construction and finishing supplies sold separately. In order to launch, a launch system, model rocket engines, igniters and recovery wadding are required - sold separately-unless otherwise specified.
If you want to see the Sky Twister in action view this Youtube video. The parachute didn't open but all ended well because of the soft grassy field. Beware the wind ;-)
As you can see, the weakest link in any standard rocket kit is the recovery system. Estes standard components are built to a low price, not a high level of durability. To be sure you get your rocket back we recommend Starter Set Upgrade Kits, an economical version of our Recovery Upgrade Kits that addresses the standard recovery components' short comings and is a bit kinder on the environment, too. For more information click HERE
Our optional full-on Recovery Upgrade Kits provide the highest level of durability with nylon ripstop parachutes. They are principally for rocket builders that value the time and skill they put into their birds. Starter Set Upgrade Kits use a standard Estes polychute.
That's not to say that failing to get back a beloved Starter Set rocket is any less traumatic (especially if child disappointment is involved). For more information click HERE
