Estes Renegade, a two-stage fantasy rocket is out of production - but a new D-powered single stage version is HERE

OTT was the goal of the Estes styling department when they thought up the Renegade! This guy is festooned with nascelles, fins, cockpit canopy and a truly menacing set of decals. What more could a boy want? Standing 670mm tall (26.6 inches) this is a impressive rocket on the pad or in the air.

The revamped version flies as a single stage rocket with a target altitude of 260 meters (850 feet).

This rocket is NOT all show and no go. Flights of the older version demonstrated that a box stock Renegade provides satisfying flights for the builder as well as the spectators!

The rocket comes complete with die-cut balsa fins, airframe and engine mount components, shaped cockpit nose cone and detailed, easy-to-follow instructions. This is a beefy bird with a 42mm diameter airframe (1.46 inches).

This kit will take some time and effort to be a perfect fantasy flyer. Be sure you get it back with a Recovery Upgrade Kit that includes permanent Nomex wadding, shock cord protector and nylon chute

We have not confirmed this but it looks as if with suitable centring rings and motor tubes, you could have the classic 2-stager version by lightly bashing this kit... or maybe a Double D two stager? Woo wee! We can help with the the odd bits to do the conversion
