Another Estes Blast from the Past
Whether it's catering to Born Again Rocketeers or a shortage of fresh designs from the back room, Star Trooper is ready, according to Estes, to assault the galaxy in style. This 'Classic Series' reissue is a lean green flying machine that has its sights set firmly on you! Better run ;-)
This diminutive (only 188mm from top to toe) but stocky rocket can fly up to 900 feet using Estes cheap-ish mini rocket motors. Recovery is via hi-viz streamer so it is a good un for breezy days. But NOT for tall grass :-)
As a Skill Level 1 kit you gotta do some gluing and painting. This easy-build model features a wooden nose cone, laser-cut wood fins and waterslide decals for a brief but pleasurable building experience, prior to that all-important first flight.
It's a great rocket for beginners or any rocketeer looking to expand their collection in case you missed flying one way back when. We who are about to fly salute you.
As per usual, Star Trooper requires a launch system; (launch controller and launch pad), rocket motors, igniters and recovery wadding to operate. All available here at Model Rocket Shop with a click or two.
