LIMITED STOCK! Rocket only with three (A B and/or C) motors

Estes poses this rhetorical question: Ever wonder what the view is like from 900 feet or higher? Well, wonder no more! The Estes Astrocam Flying Model Rocket includes everything you need to capture audio and video from a rocket in flight – it’s so clear and realistic, it’s almost like being there! Aren't you glad there is a parachute? ;-)

Vital Statistics

Length: 20 in. (50.8 cm)
Diameter: 0.98 in. (25 mm)
Weight: 1.5 oz. (42.6 g)
Recovery: 15 in. (38.1 cm) poly parachute
Recovery Upgrade: Kit B
Launch equipment: Air Launcher and Klima Launch Controller recommended
Recommended Engines: A6-4, A8-3, B4-4, B6-4, C6-5, C6-7, D9-7!!!

We send AstroCam out with A motors - best for beginning flyers and reduced risk of a lost rocket ;-) then use the B and C motors for higher flights. Optional D motors can be used but ONLY for calm days with wide open recovery areas! Extra wadding and igniters are always a good idea. Recovery Upgrade Kit B is strongly recommended.

The Estes AstroCam is equipped with its own high-definition digital video camera and a specially engineered nosecone to house the camera during flight. Start the camera while the rocket is on the launch pad and begin recording audio and video onto the included 16GB Micro SD Memory Card.

Stand back and press the launch button and the model rocket camera captures the breathtaking sights and sounds from liftoff through recovery from onboard the rocket.

The Beginner-Level Astrocam rocket goes together quickly and can be ready to fly in less than 30 minutes. All parts are pre-finished for you – build your own rocket with no gluing or painting.

Wanna get higher? The AstroCam nosecone fits any Estes rocket with a 0.98 inch diameter body tube... fit that cone to, say, a multi stage rocket like the Mongoose, Comanche or MultiRoc and get that cam shot from wwaayyy up ;-)

Clear tape. Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included...actually not needed :-)

Launch Pad and Launch Controller. Alkaline batteries, model rocket engines, starters/igniters and recovery wadding. You also need a place to launch and good weather!

Model rocketry is recommended for boys and girls ages 10+ with adult supervision for those under 12, and rocketeers of all ages.
