This Javelin is just like the one in the Deluxe set but minus the launch gubbins.
Javelin is an E2X (Easy to Assemble) model rocket designed with beginners in mind. With all pre-colored rocket parts and easily applied self-stick decals, you're ready for liftoff in minutes. With nothing more needed than tube type plastic cement or CA, you can be on the flying field in no time at all.
Using standard 18mm Estes or Klima engines (additional motors sold separately) the Javelin soars to heights of 600 feet (or more with a Klima D9-3) but the REALLY cool part is the glider that takes off from the rocket.
Estes model rocketry is recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12. Unless otherwise specified, all models require assembly. Tools, construction and finishing supplies sold separately. In order to launch, a launch system, model rocket engines, igniters and recovery wadding are required - sold separately-unless otherwise specified.
