DOUBLE DIP Mira
Quick and Easy X 2 1DOUBLE DIP Mira
Quick and Easy X 2 2

Two Quick and Easy Mira kits... one is HALF price

Build two, one for a back-up in case of hungry trees...OR make a two stage rocket ;-)

Vital Statistics for Mira model rocket kit

Length: 338 mm
Diameter: 26 mm
Weight: 55 g
Glue: just a dab of Gorilla Aliphatic Resin
Recovery: 12 inch poly parachute
Recovery Upgrade option: Starter Set or Kit A
Ground support equipment: standard
Recommended Motors: A6-4, B4-4, C6-7

Just like the one in the Mira Starter Set in case you lost your first one :-)

This is a superior model rocket kit, much more rugged than Estes' offering! The Mira model rocket kit can be built in a half hour and paint is very optional.

The three fin design is accurate and easy to construct. The NO GLUE "fin can" that virtually guarantees straight flights. Sticky backed decals and self coloured nose and fins mean that there's no need to paint Mira.

The Mira's assembly instructions can be found on this link

If you are interested in the two stage conversion you will need to make/buy two couplers. Ask nicely and we may have some freebie ones knocking around. All other parts are included in the two kits. You will have a nose cone, recovery harness bits and a parachute going spare. Aditional photos and dimension available on request.

We recommend using a strip of one parachute for a streamer as this little bird flies high. We recommend B4-0/A6-4 for your first flight. As always when kit bashing, please use a simulation program such as SpaceCAD or ye olde swing-on-a-string method to assure the proper relationship for the CG and CP.

Model rocketry is recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12. Unless otherwise specified, all models require assembly. Tools, construction and finishing supplies sold separately. In order to launch, a launch system, model rocket engines/motors, igniters and recovery wadding are required - sold separately-unless otherwise specified.
