Guinness Book of World Records

Average rating based on 3 review(s)

Works very well indeed. We did a test flight using an A8-3 motor on a relatively windy day. The dragonite was very stable, produced a good vertical launch and reached an estimated height of about 200ft (60-70m). The recovery system worked perfectly and the rocket landed about 40m downwind of the launch site. An ideal power if you are firing from a football pitch. A few of the parts are a little small and have to be inserted the "right way round" to line up correctly, so I would say assembly is for 10 years+, although to a competent adult it is still 9.9 / 10 for ease of construction.

The build went well and took only 10 miniutes or so. i gave it a lick of glue just to be on the safe side! flew to its predicted altitude on a C6-7 and although the conditions were not perfect it flew straight up and only drifted 6 feet from the pad.

Fly's high on a B or C, strong and sturdy and looks great! this rocket is great for beginners as it is easy to build and is spectacular in flight. good rocket
