Dual shuttles blast off and glide back while booster returns on its own parachute

This is the new wave of Estes fighter technology for beginners that can't wait to engaged the enemy in outer space... or at least in the skies of Warwickshire/Hertfordshire/etc.

The Shuttle Xpress carries two fighter shuttles to battle. At apogee, it releases the two fighter shuttles that glide back to earth. The booster is recovered by a 12 inch parachute.

It's a quick build because of the pre-painted, one-piece plastic nose cone, styrofoam shuttle bodies and pre-decorated rocket body tubes and shuttle fins. You get a sharp looking launch vehicle with no messing about!

The weakest link in any standard rocket kit is the recovery system. Estes standard components are built to a low price, not a high level of durability.
