Make your own starter set with any model rocket kit!

Estes Ready-to-Fly Starter sets are great but they are not perfect for everyone. Model Rocket Shop's 100s of model kits are great but they don't include the basic ground support equipment to get them in the air. THIS combo is the answer!

This launch set upgrades almost ANY rocket kit to a complete launch set with an Estes PortaPad, standard 3mm (1/8 inch) launch rod, an Electron Beam launch controller AND 4 x AA batteries.

This bundle does NOT, however, include motors because there are too many kit/motor combinations for us to second guess. Depending on your rocket choice, you may still have to assemble the rocket kit using glue, paint, sandpaper and other supplies which are, likewise, not included.

If you want to fly BIG rockets, this set does NOT include a MaxiRod, MaxiRod E or 9 inch blast plate which are needed to launch bigger, heavier and more powerful models like the Blue Ninja, Eliminator or Righteous Rector.
